Models Motors Miami

Day 100 / Mile 13,400  ...I can't believe it, 100 days LIVING VANCARIOUSLY!

Even though Key West was super warm and a great tourist trap to enjoy, I was antsy and wanted to get back on the road. Since I was in the most southern point of the USA, it was all up from here! ...or so I was thinking.

My van's health was starting to go downhill. There is an issue with the coolant sensor communicating with the computer, telling the motor to start like it's cold and run rich, like if there was a carburetor it would have the choke on. So when it's already warm it's very difficult to start. It's not stopping me though.

There's a law somewhere that if a gate is open it's not trespassing on that property. Well, I went in to this abandoned stadium in Miami to check out the crazy graffiti and quickly got kicked out by a security guard.

When I got near Fort Lauderdale I met up with my friend, Steve Beaudet. About 5 years ago I assisted him on a commercial photoshoot for Ritz Carleton, and he mentioned if I was ever in the area to give him a call to hang out, so I finally did. He had a guest bedroom, good whiskey, and some fun to be had so I posted up for a few days to catch up with him. Since I was going to be in one spot for a second, I also found a mechanic to look into my van's ailments.

Those are brand new Red Line tires she's wearing, so that's about $100 bucks worth of rubber left on the street.

Steve wanted to add a new look to his portfolio, so he lined up a test shoot with some beautiful models: Jessica Soler and Sydney Fine.

For lunch I got alligator tail and frog legs, because that's the freshest thing in the kitchen.

I'm slightly worried, because I'm planning on going into the hills and backwoods soon and don't want to be stranded.
